Corporate Purpose The company’s primary purpose is the research and development, manufacture and marketing of innovative products or services of high technological value, and in particular physical equipment or instruments—whether in the form of ready-to-use finished products or semi-finished products requiring further assembly—necessary for the practice of various skiing disciplines, as well as the necessary components to be used in conjunction with the skis themselves.
Brief description of the business Miss-ski, by using non-standard materials, mechanisms and production processes, is able to manufacture skis containing moving parts, with relative motion between the various components, in order to achieve variable and innovative characteristics and geometries that are currently not feasible. One example of a practical application is in ski mountaineering. Currently, the user requires external elements attached to the base of the ski, usually called ‘sealskins’, to prevent backward slippage during the ascent. Thanks to the change in the ski’s geometry, made possible exclusively by the company’s proprietary technology, the user will be able to use a single piece of equipment—the ski—for both the ascent and the subsequent descent, without the need for additional external elements. For the first year of operation, expenditure on applied research and development is expected to exceed €10,000.00.
