One example of a practical application is in ski mountaineering. Currently, the user requires external elements attached to the base of the ski, usually called \u2018sealskins\u2019, to prevent backward slippage during the ascent. Thanks to the change in the ski\u2019s geometry, made possible exclusively by the company\u2019s proprietary technology, the user will be able to use a single piece of equipment\u2014the ski\u2014for both the ascent and the subsequent descent, without the need for additional external elements.
